Noémie Etienne and Claire Brizon are both part of the conference Ready for the past? On the State of Decolonization in Swiss Museums on May 4 and 5 2022 at Université de Lausanne.
The conference seeks to provide a forum for scholars, museum practitioners, and artists to take stock of what has been done so far in Switzerland in terms of critical engagement with the colonial past and its continuities, and to learn from each other’s experiences. On this basis, the conference also seeks to provide a platform to reflect on how to coordinate efforts within Switzerland and across the border in the future.
